COST ANALYST 1
The Cost Analyst 1 is responsible for providing accurate, timely recording and analysis of all fiber related activities, capital project accounting and department spending reports, as well as parts of the chemical and freight accounting and back up for others in the accounting department.
This position is also responsible for adhering to various accounting and internal control functions. This includes accumulating and reporting for internal, external and management needs; various financial and related information generated by the company and ensuring that all such information and transactions are processed and completed according to company policies and procedures.

Required Education, Experience and Competencies
Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business with concentration in Accounting.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products and spreadsheets and databases.
Good analytical ability.
Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
Able to work well independently and in groups.
Desired Education, Experience and Competencies
Industrial pulp and paper experience.
Previous experience in an accounting department.
Manufacturing accounting experience a plus.
CPA/CMA designation.
