Electrical & Instrumentation Mechanic 2 (EIM-052015)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the general electrical and instrumentation maintenance of the operating equipment. Activities may involve exposure to live voltages of various levels in both the AC/DC ranges along with pneumatic and hydraulic valve operations. This position will rely heavily on journeyman trade knowledge and utilization of hand and power tools and electronic measuring tools.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Successful completion of a 2-year electrical and instrumentation program.
Able to work rotating 12-hour shifts.
Able to perform work classified with Heavy Strength requirements.
Must have own necessary tools.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in the following:
Distributive controls systems (DCS);
Programmable logic controllers (PLC);
Electric control systems; and
Process control valves and instrumentation.
