Multi-Craft Mechanic 2 (MCM-052015)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for general maintenance of the operating equipment throughout the facility. Multi-Craft Mechanics (MCM) may be required to perform any of the following crafts at any time: millwright, welding, pipefitting, machining, auto mechanic, painting and lubrication. MCMs will rely heavily on journeyman trade knowledge and utilization of hand and power tools for accomplishing work assignments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma (not G.E.D. and diploma will be verified);
Journeyman level skills in one of the following: millwright, pipefitter or machinist.
Possess two (2) additional skills outside of journeyman trade in the following: roll grinding, carpentry, pipefitting, welding, optical equipment, vibration alignment, vibration diagnostics, diesel mechanics, hydraulic trouble-shooting, tig welding or machining; and
Must have own necessary tools. Able to work rotating 12-hour shifts. Able to perform work classified with Heavy Strength requirements. Must have own necessary tools.
