Homeland Field Services is a Property Preservation Company that is looking for a handyman in your area, who is skilled, hardworking, and willing to learn to how to work with our company. The quality of the work you do directly determines how much work you will receive in your area.
Location:
Covering the area of Clallam and Jefferson counties, including the following cities:
- Port Angeles, Sekiu, Port Townsend and Brinnon
Responsibilities:
- Types of work we need performed but are not limited to: lock changes, trash outs, grass cuts, bids, repairs, winterizations, snow removals, etc.
- Good photography skills, taking clear high quality pictures of before, during, and after photos of all work performed, as well as of entire property condition.
- Calling in for approval from the Vendor Representative over each work order, including sending in pictures for review, before leaving a job site.
- Being responsible and trustworthy with the work you do, and how you communicate with your Vendor Representative.
- Acknowledging work orders in your online queue, completing work and submitting it online; all of which needs to be done both correctly and in a timely matter.
Requirements:
- A smartphone like the following:
o A 2 year old or newer Android phone or iPhone (Windows phones are not compatible).
o With a sizeable data plan (minimum of 2G, unlimited is recommended).
o That has a minimum of a 5 megapixel camera with flash, as pictures will be sent in for approval from site.
o Photos will be submitted using an application. Work Orders will be assigned though this application as well.
o Photos must not have date stamps and be landscape orientation.
- Keep in compliance with client requirements on how work is expected to be performed. As well as the skills to do the work orders, and the technological knowledge and capabilities to receive and submit those work orders using the application. Training will be provided online on basic understanding of Work Order requirements and how to use the application.
- Generator (most houses do not have any electricity)
- Air Compressor (Most houses need a winterization performed in the winter months.)
- Equipment necessary to remove large amounts of debris (truck, trailer, etc.)
- Equipment for yard work. (Mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
- Purchase and keep on hand knob locks, dead bolts and lock boxes to specified key codes and types. Take master keys of each key code with you to every work order.
- General Liability Insurance of $1,000,000 with Homeland Field Services listed as an additional certificate holder (additionally insured), as well as Workmens Comp. Insurance if you work with a crew. (If you cant afford the insurance initially, please contact us to see about working on a 30 day trial period.)
- Pass a mandatory background check.
Compensation:
- There is set pricing for specific types of jobs on each work order. A pricing sheet will be given upon application. The prices are not negotiable.
- Pay is based on a Net 45, and as an Independent Contractor (1099 employee).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
