Summary:
Under the supervision of the Manager or Supervisor of Health Information Management, maintains integrity of master patient index, processes birth certificates and requests for medical information, orders office supplies and serves as receptionist.
Qualifications:
Education High school diploma/equivalent.
Prior experience/training in medical terminology strongly desired.
Experience Minimum one year secretarial/clerical experience preferably in a Health Information Management Department or health care setting.
Licensure/Credentials None.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
