0 Full-time 20 hours ago Full Job Description POSITION SUMMARY Compile, process and maintain accounts payable records.
Reconcile bank accounts update cash reports.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manage the Accounts Payable (AP) process Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
Prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks.
Distributes signed checks as required.
Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files.
Act as the AP system (Pyrus) administrator Assist with payroll and timekeeping projects Collaborate with finance teammates for special projects Assists in monthly closings.
Other projects as needed.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education and/or Experience Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or one or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical/Environmental This job operates in a professional office setting.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required.
This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
